- 1 can baby clams
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- hot sauce (optional)
Directions

1Heat clams and juice on medium heat and add butter.

2Simmer for 5 minutes.

3Add vegetables and cook until potatoes are tender. Mix together milk, can milk and cornstarch and pour into clam mixture.

4Ready to serve when chowder has thickened.
