- 3 to 4 cans minced clams with juice
- 4 to 6 onions, finely chopped
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces
- 2 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 c. half and half
- pinch of thyme
- 1/4 c. butter
Directions

1Saute onions in butter or margarine.

2Cook potatoes in water until tender with seasoning.

3Combine onions with potatoes in their water and clams, heating to boiling point.

4Add thyme and half and half.

5Stir until blended and hot enough to serve.

6Do not boil.
