- 3 cans (6.5 oz.) minced clams
- 2 c. chopped onions
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1/2 c. diced carrots
- 1 cube butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 qt. half and half
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. pepper
Directions

1Drain clams.

2Put clam liquid over vegetables and add water to cover.

3Cook over low heat until tender.

4In another pot, melt butter.

5Add flour and half and half.

6Stir frequently until smooth and thick.

7Add to cooked vegetables.

8Add clams and spices; simmer 1/2 hour.
