- 2 large potatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 strips bacon
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 (8 oz.) cans chopped clams with broth
- 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 qt. milk
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. half and half
Directions

1Pare potatoes and cook in boiling water with salt until tender, about 10 to 15 minutes.

2Drain and cut into bite-size cubes.

3In large frypan, cook bacon until crisp.

4Remove from pan and chop into small pieces.

5Cook onion in bacon drippings until clear.

6Add clams with broth and simmer 5 minutes.
