  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans ready-to-serve chicken broth
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can clams, undrained
  • 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans cream of potato soup, undiluted
  • 1 to 2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. half and half

    Saute garlic and onion in butter until tender.

    Add broth and next 3 ingredients, stirring well.

    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.

    Add half and half, stirring well.

    Cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated.
