  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1 c. water
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz. each) cans minced clams with juice
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
