Ingredients

  • 3 cans minced clams (reserve liquid from 1 can)
  • 2 small onions, diced
  • 1/2 green pepper, diced
  • pimento, chopped (for color)
  • 6 Tbsp. Italian bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • French's imitation bacon to taste (about 2 to 3 Tbsp.)

Directions

    Saute onions and green pepper in 3 tablespoons margarine.

    Put all other ingredients in a casserole dish.

    Add onions, peppers and clam liquid.

    Refrigerate for awhile.

    Bake, uncovered, at 450° for 30 minutes.

    Serve warm with crackers.
