  • salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced medium
  • 1 onions medium, sliced
  • 1 jar Ragu(R) Chunky Pasta Sauce 1 lb. 8 oz.
  • 1/4 cup dry red wine or beef broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional

Directions

    Lightly season chicken with salt and black pepper.

    Heat olive oil over in deep 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat and brown chicken, about 8 minutes; drain. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer covered 25 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
