- 1 lb. hamburger
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 can tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 2 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 pkg. (8 oz.) noodles
- 1 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In large heavy pan, lightly brown beef and onion in oil.

2Add tomatoes, paste, water, salt, sugar, garlic powder, pepper and oregano.

3Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes.

4Meanwhile, cook lasagne as directed, drain.

5In 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, spread about 1 cup sauce, then alternate layers of noodles, sauce, Ricotta, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, ending with sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan.

6Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes until lightly browned and bubbling.

7Allow to stand for 15 minutes.

8Cut in squares to serve.
