Classic Pecan Pie

- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. pecans
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Directions

1In large bowl, stir eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla until well blended.

2Stir in pecans.

3Pour into pastry shell.

4Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.

5If pie crust edges start to burn, cover with foil until filling is done.

6Cool.
