- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Onion
- 1 cup Long Grain White Rice
- 1 pinch Saffron, Crumbled
- 2 cups Water
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
Directions

1Put butter and minced onion in a heavy quart saucepan. Saute over medium heat until onion is translucent. Add rice, saffron, water and salt. Bring to a rolling boil. Cover, reduce heat to simmer, cook rice until tender and liquid is absorbed (about 16 minutes).
