Classic Walnut Pie

- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. light or dark corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry pie shell
- 1 1/2 c. large pieces walnuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Combine first six ingredients; blend well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Arrange walnuts on top.

3Bake in lower third of oven at 400° for 15 minutes.

4Reduce oven temperature to 350°.

5Bake an additional 35 to 45 minutes or until center appears set.

6Cool completely.

7Makes 8 servings. Preparation time: 10 minutes.
