- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. Karo light or dark corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry pie shell
- 1 1/2 c. large pieces Diamond walnuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Combine eggs, sugar, flour, corn syrup, butter and vanilla.

3Blend well.

4Pour into unbaked pie shell. Arrange walnuts on top.

5Bake in lower third of oven at 400° for 15 minutes.

6Reduce oven temperature to 350° and bake an additional 35 to 45 minutes or until center appears set.

7Cool completely.
