Clay Pot Potatoes

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Sour Cream
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 1/3 teaspoons Ground Pepper Mix
  • 4 Medium Potatoes
  • 3-1/2 ounces, weight Grated Gouda Cheese (or Any Other Soft Cheese)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).

    Whisk the eggs and milk in a medium-sized bowl. Add the sour cream, salt, nutmeg and pepper. Mix all the ingredients well.

    Slice the potatoes into 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) thick rounds and place them in two clay pots. Pour the egg mixture in every pot and cover with cheese.

    Send the pots to the preheated oven and bake at 400°F (205°C) for 30 minutes. Serve the clay pot potatoes hot with meat or vegetables.
