- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 3 tsp. salt
- 6 to 6 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. shortening, melted
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Soften yeast with sugar in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.

3Beat the eggs.

4Add the lukewarm milk; add yeast and sugar mixture.

5Add half the flour, then mix thoroughly.

6Add the melted shortening and beat well.

7Add balance of flour or enough to make a soft dough.
