  • 42 Club crackers
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • coconut or slivered almonds

    Place crackers in single layer in foil lined 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan. In saucepan, melt butter; add sugar and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Pour evenly over crackers. Sprinkle with nuts or coconut. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly browned. Immediately remove from pan, cutting between crackers. Cool. Store in airtight container.
