  • 2 c. unsifted flour
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk (1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. lemon)
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. Coca-Cola
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. cocoa

    Combine flour and sugar in mixing bowl.

    Set aside.

    Heat cocoa, oleo and Coca-Cola to boiling, then pour over flour and sugar, mixing well.

    Beat eggs, add buttermilk, soda, vanilla and marshmallows and mix well.

    The batter will be thin with marshmallows floating on top.

    Bake in a long pan for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
