  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 c. Coke
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. small marshmallows

Directions

    Put flour and sugar in a bowl and mix well.

    Put buttermilk and soda in a cup and set aside.

    Bring to a boil the oleo, Wesson oil, Coke and cocoa.

    Pour over flour and sugar mixture and mix well.

    Add buttermilk mixture, eggs (slightly beaten), vanilla and marshmallows.

    Put in oblong (9 x 13-inch) greased and floured pan.

    Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes.

    When done, ice immediately.
