  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. Coke
  • 1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Sift together flour and sugar and place in a large mixing bowl.

    Put butter, cocoa, Coke and marshmallows into a small boiler.
  3. 3
    Simmer until marshmallows are melted.
  4. 4
    Take off of burner and let it cool off slightly.
  5. 5
    Add melted mixture to flour and sugar and blend well.
  6. 6
    Blend in 2 well beaten eggs.

    Add buttermilk with baking soda in it.

    Pour in greased and floured pan and bake 45 minutes at 350°.

    Remove from oven and pour icing on cake while warm.
