  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Heat the first 4 ingredients and pour over the sugar, flour and eggs.
  2. 2
    Beat with spoon and add buttermilk, soda, salt and vanilla. Beat all and pour into greased pan.

    Bake 20 minutes at 400°.
