Cocoa Fudge Icing

Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. cocoa or 1/2 c.
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine all except vanilla in pot.

    Slowly bring to a boil. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Take from heat; add vanilla and beat until spreading consistency.

    Ready to frost 2 or 3 layer cake.

    (I usually use Pillsbury Plus yellow cake mix for layers.)
