  • 1 cup coconut, white part grated and ground
  • 2-1/2 cup sugar (mithai special)
  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 2 to 3 rose essence
  • Cochineal

Directions

    Mix all the ingredients except colour and essence.

    Cook on high flame until it thickens.

    Add colour and essence.

    Pour onto a greased thali and cut into cubes when cooled.

    Garnish with blanched almonds and pistachios.
