- 1 c. margarine, soft
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 c. grated coconut, divided
Directions

1Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

3Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

4Mix after each addition. Stir in flavorings.

5Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.

6Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

7Cool in pan 10 minutes.

8Remove from pans and cool completely.

9Frost with White Mountain Frosting.

10Sprinkle coconut between layers, top and sides of cake.
