- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 pkg. frozen coconut
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 1/2 c. Cool Whip
Directions

1Bake cake as directed.

2Slice in 3 or 4 layers.

3Mix sugar, sour cream and vanilla flavoring together.

4Add 1 1/2 packages coconut to sugar mixture.

5Place filling between cake layers only. Mix remaining coconut with Cool Whip and ice sides and top of cake. Let stand overnight or several hours before serving.

6Keep stored in refrigerator.
