  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 3/4 stick margarine
  • unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Beat eggs.

    Add sugar, melted margarine, buttermilk and vanilla.

    Add coconut last.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Put into preheated 375° oven.

    Bake 10 minutes.

    Then lower heat to 300° and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until set and begins to brown.
