- dash of salt
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/3 c. flaked coconut

1Grease a cookie sheet.

2Beat egg whites, vanilla and salt until soft peaks form.

3Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.

4Fold in coconut.

5Drop from a teaspoon 1 1/2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.

6Bake in 325° oven for about 20 minutes.

7Cool on a wire rack.
