- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 pkg. coconut
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Cook pie crust and let cool.

2Sift together sugar and cornstarch.

3Take egg yolks and 1/4 cup milk and beat well, add rest of milk.

4Add sugar to milk mixture and cook stirring constantly until thick.

5Add coconut and vanilla, stir well and place in refrigerator until cool.

6Place in pie shell and top with beaten egg whites (12 tablespoons sugar to egg whites) or Cool Whip.

7Makes 1 pie.
