- 1 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. coconut
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.

2Add beaten egg yolks and milk.

3Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.

4Remove from heat; add margarine and vanilla.

5Beat until smooth and add coconut.

6Pour into baked pie crust; top with meringue and sprinkle with coconut.

7Bake at 400° for 8 or 10 minutes or until meringue is lightly brown.
