  • 3 sticks butter (1/2 c. = 1 stick)
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. coconut
  • confectioners sugar

Directions

    In large bowl, combine all ingredients except confectioners sugar and beat well.

    Pour batter into two greased bread pans. Bake in 325° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    Let cool about 10 minutes and remove from pan.

    Dust with confectioners sugar.
