  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 6 eggs (room temperature)
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 can coconut

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time (have eggs at room temperature).

    Sift flour, salt and soda.

    Add sour cream. Add vanilla and coconut.

    Bake in tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or 1 hour and 15 minutes.
