Coconut Pound Cake

- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 5 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. coconut flavoring
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. butter flavoring
- 1 can Angel Flake coconut
- yellow cake flavoring (optional)
Directions

1Cream sugar and vegetable oil well.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

3Add alternately milk and flour.

4Begin and end with the flour.

5Add salt, butter flavorings and coconut flavorings with a spoon.

6Add coconut to batter along with a few drops of yellow food coloring.

7Bake in a tube pan.

8Start cake in a cold oven.

9Set temperature at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until brown and tests done.
