- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream together butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Sift flour with salt.

4Add flour alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beating after each addition.

5Add coconut, lemon and vanilla flavorings.

6Pour into a greased and floured pan.

7Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until cake is done.

8Cool 10 minutes then remove.
