  • 3 sticks oleo or butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 pkg. frozen coconut
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time and beat well.

    Sift flour and salt.

    Add to creamed mixture along with sour cream, vanilla and lemon flavorings.

    Fold in coconut.

    Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes in tube pan.
