  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. coconut flavoring
  • 1 can flaked coconut

Directions

    Cream sugar and Crisco for 10 minutes.

    Add eggs, one at a time and beat.

    Add dry ingredients and milk.

    Fold in coconut and flavoring.

    Bake in tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325°. Start in a cold oven.
