- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. quick cooking oats
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Chill bowl and beaters.

2Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until foamy; gradually add sugar and almond extract (or flavoring).

3Beat until stiff peaks form.

4Fold in coconut, oats and pecans.

5Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.

6Bake at 325° for 20 minutes.
