- 1-1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup beer
- 14 oz. desiccated coconut
- 1 lb. prawns, shelled and cleaned
Directions

1Pour oil into large fryer and heat to 375F.

2Mix together flour and beer until it makes a batter.

3Coat shrimp in batter, then roll in coconut.

4Fry shrimp in small batches approximately 2 to 3 minutes until golden and curled.

5Drain on paper towels.
