- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines golden sugar cookie mix
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp. coconut extract
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1 egg white
- 2 c. flaked coconut
- red or green candied cherries, halved
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Empty both mix pouches into bowl.

3Add egg white, coconut extract and 1/2 cup coconut.

4Mix thoroughly. Form dough into 1-inch balls.

5Dip into egg white. Roll in coconut.

6Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

7Press candied cherry half into center of each macaroon.

8Bake 8 to 10 minutes until coconut browns a little. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet before removing with spatula.

9Makes 30 cookies.
