Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks oleo or butter
  • 5 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Cream oleo and sugar; blend in flour until smooth.

    Add vanilla and nuts.

    Shape mixture into fingers or small balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Do not let cookies get too brown for they will taste scorched. Remove from cookie sheet and roll in powdered sugar.
