- 1/2 lb. salt cod fish
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/8 tsp. hot pepper
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 c. parsley, minced
- 1 1/2 c. tomatoes
- 1/4 c. milk or water
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Soak fish in water overnight or boil and pour off water.

2Boil again to get most of the salt out of the fish.

3Break up fish; add rest of ingredients and stir.

4Drop by spoonfuls into boiling cooking oil.

5Fry to a golden brown.
