- 1 pound cod fish salted
- onion 1 sm.
- 1 garlic clove
- tomato 1 med., firm
- 1/4 cup green peppers diced
- 1/4 cup red peppers diced
- black pepper
- 3 hard boiled eggs optional
- 3 tablespoons Mazola Cooking Oil
Directions

1Soak codfish in water to cover overnight.

2Change water twice.

3Scald in boiling water and drain.

4Strip fish in small pieces and set aside in dish.

5Slice garlic clove and brown in oil.

6Add onions and saute until just tender.

7Add peppers and tomatoes, saute a little more and mix contents with codfish and, if desired, diced eggs.

8Serve on a bed of leaf lettuce.
