  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 cup milk
