- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Heat milk, sugar, salt and shortening.

2Add yeast to flour. Pour warm milk mixture over flour and yeast mixture.

3Add 2 unbeaten eggs.

4Beat with mixture.

5Add another 1/2 cup flour and knead on floured board.

6Divide in half.

7Drop in well-greased 1 pound coffee cans.

8Cover with lid and let rise to 1-inch of top of can.

9Remove lid.

10Bake for 30 minutes in 350° oven.
