  • 1 (85 g) package orange Jell-O
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 13 cup Cointreau liqueur
  • 1 pint vanilla ice cream
  • 9 inches graham cracker crust
  • 12 cup whipping cream (to garnish)
  • chocolate shavings (to garnish)
  • toasted almond (to garnish)

Directions

    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.

    Add Cointreau.

    Add ice cream by spoonfuls, stirring until melted.

    Chill until thickened but not set.

    Pour into pie shell and chill again until set.

    Garnish thickly with whipping cream, chocolate and almonds.
