- 1 lb. cooked potatoes, mashed
- 1 oz. butter or margarine
- 1 oz. onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb. cooked cabbage
- salt and pepper
- a little milk
Directions

1Melt the butter; add onion and cover with a round of greased paper.

2Put lid on saucepan and cook over a slow heat for 10 minutes, but do not allow to color.

3Add the mashed potatoes, chopped cabbage, pepper, salt and milk.

4Mix all together well and reheat thoroughly, stirring all the time.

5Pile up in a hot vegetable dish.

6Score with a fork.
