  • 14-1/4 oz. cabbage, cooked and sliced
  • 14-1/4 oz. potatoes, cooked and mashed
  • 1 lg. onion
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

    Combine the cabbage and potatoes together; season with salt and pepper.

    In a heavy non-stick fry-pan, fry the onion.

    When the onion is soft and lightly browned, press in the potato-cabbage mixture.

    Season lightly again.

    When the underside is golden and crusty, turn over and repeat.

    Serve it with beef or sausages, or it is great on its own with melted butter.
