- boiling water
- 3 tsp. salt
- 4 c. coarsely shredded green cabbage
- 3/4 c. sliced scallions
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/4 tsp. pepper

1Pare potatoes; cut each into quarters.

2In 1/2 inch boiling water with 1 teaspoon salt, in medium saucepan, cook potatoes, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until fork-tender and completely cooked.

3Drain.

4Return pan to low heat, shaking to dry potatoes.
