Cold Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans, drained
  • 1 (1 lb.) red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (1 lb.) garbanzos or chickpeas, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped pimiento
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 red onion, sliced into thin rings
  • 1 c. wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

Directions

    In large bowl, combine all beans, pimiento and onion.

    Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl.

    Stir well and pour over bean mixture, tossing gently.

    Cover; refrigerate to chill and blend flavors.

    Stir gently several times before serving (if you remember).

    Can be made day before.
