  • 3 sticks butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. lemon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add flour. Add flavoring. Pour into well-greased and floured cake pan. Place in cold oven. Heat oven to 300°. Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let set in pan for 10 minutes. Turn out onto rack.
