- 1 head lettuce or bunch spinach
- 1 pkg. cooked English peas (frozen)
- water chestnuts, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. each: onion, bell pepper and celery
- Hellmann's mayonnaise (about 3 c.)
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Fill bowl 3/4 full with lettuce or spinach.

2Layer English peas, water chestnuts, onion, bell pepper and celery.

3Cover top with Hellmann's mayonnaise.

4Sprinkle sugar over top and keep in refrigerator overnight.

5When ready to serve, crumble bacon over top.
