- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. flavoring (preferably almond)
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Cream butter and shortening; add sugar and cream some more. Add eggs, one at a time and beat after each.

2Alternate flour and milk, ending with flour.

3Add flavoring.

4Pour into a greased and floured angel food cake pan.

5Bake at 325°, starting with a cold oven for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
